  • Ujjain: Ashes of ex PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee immersed, people pay tribute

    Ujjain: Thousands of people joined the procession of the urn carrying ashes of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Friday. The procession started from Nanakheda at 9 am. The urn was brought by energy minister Paras Jain and was kept at Swaminarayan Temple. Public representatives and people paid tribute to the departed soul at the temple before taking out the procession.

On Friday assistant property tax officer Jafar Alam Ansari recovered Rs 5 lakh from Omkar ginning factory.
