    Islamabad: Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was leading on 64 parliamentary seats today while its main rival Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was ahead on 46 seats in the initial round of the counting in an election marred by a deadly suicide attack and allegations of manipulations by the powerful military.

    Mumbai: The Bombay High Court directed the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) today to inspect the heritage Esplanade building in South Mumbai and submit a report on whether it can be repaired.     Mumbai: The BJP-led Maharashtra government had purposefully kept away revenue and police personnel belonging to the Maratha community from the bandobast duty during the ongoing quota stir, a senior Congress leader alleged today. Citing “reliable sources”, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said inquiries had been made about the caste of the police and revenue officials before the Maratha quota stir began.
