    Tokyo : Torrents of rainfall and flooding battered a widespread area in southwestern Japan on Saturday, with local media casualty reports climbing quickly.   • Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko dies at 90

    Los Angeles : Steve Ditko, artiste who co-created Spiderman and Doctor Strange with comic book legend Stan Lee, has died. He was 90. Ditko was found dead in his apartment on June 29 and it is believed he died about two days earlier. No cause of death was announced.

    Maha MP threatens to stop milk supply to Mumbai from July 16

    Mumbai : Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader and MP Raju Shetti warned that milk supply to Mumbai would be stopped from 16 July if the state government failed to provide subsidy to farmers in the dairy sector. Chandrakant Patil, minister for revenue however warned Shetti that Mumbai is not part of Pakistan and such type of protest will not be tolerated.
