    Harare: Australia, Pakistan and Zimbabwe meet in a T20 tri-series starting in Harare tomorrow with the world number one ranking on the line in the sport’s shortest format. Pakistan travel to Zimbabwe as the world’s top rated team but if the Australians are able to put their torrid tour of England behind them they could claim that status for themselves.

    Indore: For the first time, a girl student has dragged Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) to court for denial of admission in first counselling of common entrance test (CET). The student was denied admission as she had made mistake in online application form of CET, a gateway to 48 courses offered by a dozen teaching departments of DAVV.

  • Odisha: 101 crocodile nesting sites found in Bhitarkanika national park

    Kendrapara: The Bhitarkanika national park has become the largest habitat of the endangered estuarine crocodiles in the country with a record number of their nesting sites spotted in it, a forest official said. Altogether 101 nesting sites of estuarine crocodiles were found this time by enumerators, Divisional Forest Officer, Rajnagar Mangrove (wildlife) Forest Division, Bimal Prasanna Acharya told PTI.

    Bhopal: Aspiring journalist, Prinshu Singh, who had earlier accused Congress MLA Hemant Katare of sexually assaulting her and had later backtracked, said that she would approach court to seek CCTV footage of jail during her stay there.
