    Bhopal: National Institute of Mental Health Rehabilitation (NIMHR) will help treatment and rehabilitation of people of central India, said Thawarchand Gehlot, union minister for social justice. He was speaking at a press conference to announce the establishment of the centre in the capital on Friday. The establishment of a mental health centre of international standards in Bhopal was passed by the cabinet on May 16.

  • Bhopal: Suspecting infidelity, man hammered fourth wife to death; arrested

    Bhopal: Police have arrested a 45-year-old man for brutally killing his fourth wife, whose decomposed body was found at their rented accommodation in Pragati Nagar on Thursday.  The accused identified as Rajaram Mewada (45), had killed his wife Mala doubting her fidelity, said Superintendent of Police (South)Rahul Kumar Lodha while speaking to media persons on Friday.

  • Bhopal: In broad daylight, miscreants rob two petrol pump employees of Rs. 2.40 lakh

    Bhopal: In a broad daylight robbery, three bike-borne miscreants assaulted petrol pump employees and escaped with Rs 2.40 lakh cash. The incident occurred near Prabhat Petrol under Aishbagh police station limits on Friday morning. Police said that Raja Petrol Pump employees Harendra Pal and Bunty Shakya, were heading to the bank to deposit cash at around 11.30 am when they were attacked and robbed by the miscreants.
