  • 908 kg cannabis seized in Assam, two arrested

    Kolkata: Nearly 910 kg of ‘ganja’ (cannabis) has been seized from Guwahati in Assam and two persons have been arrested, an official said on Wednesday. Acting on a tip, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) halted a truck at Khanapara and found 44 packets of ganja weighing 907.95 kg concealed in a makeshift chamber constructed on the top of the body of the truck, the official said.
