    Washington: Doctors at Johns Hopkins University said today they have performed the world’s first total penis and scrotum transplant on a US military serviceman who was wounded in Afghanistan. The 14-hour operation took place on March 26, and was performed by a team of nine plastic surgeons and two urology surgeons, JHU said in a statement.

    Pune: A 19-year-old Dalit woman, whose house was burnt down during the violence at Bhima-Koregaon in Pune district earlier this year, was found dead, with Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh leader Prakash Ambedkar today claiming it appeared to be a “murder”. A senior police officer said that a case of abetment of suicide was registered against nine people, and two of them have been arrested.
