    Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, fondly called Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, was an economist, educationist, politician, social reformer and the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. He was born to Bhimabai Murbadkar Sakpal and Ramji Maloji Sakpal on April 14, 1891, in Madhya Pradesh. He fought all his life against discrimination, degradation, and deprivation in the Indian society.

    Jammu: A mentally-ill teenage girl, who went missing from her house, was found dead in the outskirts of Jammu district, police said today. On April 10, a man lodged a missing report in police post Chowki Choura that his daughter has gone missing since April 9, a police official said.

    Russian envoy warns of ‘consequences’ after US-led strikes on Syria

    Washington: Syria ally Russia has warned of “consequences” following the launch of US-led strikes against Bashar al-Assad’s regime in retaliation for a suspected chemical attack. “Again, we are being threatened,” Russia’s ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, said in a statement.
