  • Petroleum Minister Pradhan co-chairs India-OPEC Institutional Dialogue

    New Delhi :  Minister of State (MoS) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan visited Vienna, Austria to co-chair the second India-OPEC Institutional Dialogue at the OPEC headquarters. The meeting took place two days prior to the OPEC ministerial meeting that is scheduled from May 25, 2017.

  • Tata Power generated 52,000 mn units in FY17

    New Delhi : Tata Power on Monday said total generation from all its power plants crossed 52,000 million units last fiscal. Its consolidated generation through all subsidiaries stood at 52,512 million units (MUs) in 2016-17 as compared to 47,347 MUs in the previous fiscal.

    New Delhi : GAIL (India) Limited registered a 57 per cent rise in profit after tax (PAT) for the financial year 2016-17 with the PAT increasing to Rs 3,503 crore from Rs 2,226 crore in the last fiscal.
