    In an attempt to make the Queen of Suburbs a popular tourist attraction, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has put a thrust on beautifying the fort precinct. The initiative includes beautification of the gardens, amphitheatre renovation, creating children’s play area and butterfly park. BMC owns two adjoining plots with an area of about 25,000 sq metres near the fort. The plots will be utilised in the project.
