    After the verdict of Supreme Court banning the sale and registration of BS-III vehicles from April 1, it gave a shock to few thousand automobile dealers in India. There are estimated 900,000 BS-III vehicles lying in inventory including commercial and two wheeler vehicles costing around Rs 12,000 crore. There are around 20,000 automobile dealerships in India. Almost all of them are carrying inventory of BS-III vehicles, especially commercial vehicle and two-wheeler dealerships.
