  • Lamborghini Aventador S launching on March 3

    Lamborghini recently unveiled the new version of its flagship supercar, the Aventador S, globally. Now the new Aventador S, with its cosmetic changes, enhanced performance and some new features, will be launched in the Indian market on 3 March, 2017. This would be Lamborghini’s second launch of the year in the country after the Italian automaker launched the Huracan RWD Spyder on 1 February, 2017.

  • 3D printed micro-camera equipped with eagle’s vision

    Berlin: Scientists have developed a new 3D-printed camera that could provide eagle-eye vision to micro-drones. The micro camera may be employed in medical procedures such as endoscopies, or used to develop micro-robots designed to measure, explore or survey, said researchers from University of Stuttgart in Germany.

  • Juno will remain and probe in Jupiter’s current orbit

    Washington: NASA’s solar-powered Juno spacecraft, which has been probing Jupiter since July last year, will remain in its current 53-day orbit around the gas giant planet for the remainder of its mission. This will allow Juno to accomplish its science goals, while avoiding the risk of a previously-planned engine firing that would have reduced the spacecraft’s orbital period to 14 days, NASA said.

  • Winners of NASA’s Space Poop Challenge earn US $30,000

    Washington: NASA has awarded USD 30,000 to three winners for designing new human waste management systems that would let astronauts urinate and defecates inside their spacesuit for up to six days. The top award of USD 15,000 for the Space Poop Challenge, went to Thatcher Cardon, a physician from the US, for his design of the MACES Perineal Access and Toileting System (M-PATS).
