    Mumbai: The roads in Jawahar Nagar area of Goregaon west are damaged and have not been repaired despite being constructed just five to six months ago. Dilip Patel, Corporator of that area, has accused the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation of not maintaining the roads despite passing repeated proposals in the past Standing Committee meetings.

  • Mumbai crime: Police bust gang behind daring Thane gold heist

    Mumbai: The mastermind behind the heist at Mannapuram Gold Finance at Vithhalwadi branch in Ulhasnagar has been arrested along with his two accomplices by the Thane crime branch unit-4 on Monday. The police have recovered three kilograms of gold from the total booty of 29 kilograms gold jewellery stolen by the thieves. The booty recovered includes bangles, necklaces and chains.
