    Mumbai : In a shocking turn of events, for the first time in a drive against open defcation, two civic officials along with a clean up marshal were beaten up by the offenders at Juhu Beach.     Mumbai : Civic chief Ajoy Mehta inaugurated two heritage structures – the Bomanjee Hormarjee Wadia Clock Tower located near Bazaar Gate Street and the Seth Gangadas Vijbhukhandas and Mulji Nandlal Religious and Charitable Trust Pyao at Horniman Circle Garden in Fort area on Thursday. Both the structures have been conserved and restored by the Kala Ghoda Association (KGA).

  • Solar installation of over 9GW expected in 2017: Mercom

    Mumbai : It was estimated that solar installations in India will reach over 4 GW in 2016, compared to 2.3 GW installed in 2015, stated a global clean communications and research firm, Mercom Capital Group. As per the report, the cumulative solar installations have reached 9.6 GW as of December 2016 but as per the firm it is estimated that 2017 solar installation to be over 9 GW.
