    Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday observed that the mid-day meal scheme for school children is good, but is not implemented properly. The court also indicated that it would frame guidelines to ensure proper implementation of the scheme.

  • Bhopal: Driver murder case cracked, one arrested

    MORENA: District civil line station police have arrested the two accused, who killed the truck driver for for bidding  the accused and his widow sister-in-law for their illicit relations. Under civil line station area of the district on Agra-Mumbai national highway, a truck driver Virpal, resident of village Ghangoli station Tappal district Aligarh, UP, was killed by unidentified persons on November 24.   • Bombay High Court hearing on Maratha quota plea deferred

    Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday deferred the hearing over a bunch of petitions pertaining to Maharashtra government’s decision to provide reservation to the Maratha Community. It has been deferred till January 31. The government had in 2014 decided to provide 16 per cent reservation to Maratha Community in government jobs and educational institutes.
