    Bhopal, The counting of votes in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol parliamentary constituency and Nepanagar assembly constituency began amid tight security on Tuesday morning, an official said.

    BHOPAL: The state government, general administration department (GAD), ordered new postings of three IAS officers of additional/deputy secretary level. As per order, Pannalal Solanki has been posted as additional secretary, department of social justice, Prakash Chandra Jangre as deputy secretary, animal husbandry department and Shekhar Verma has been posted as deputy secretary, home department.

  • Bhopal: SDM probing SIMI encounter seeks evidence from people

    BHOPAL: A public notice has been issued, in connection with incident jailbreak of SIMI undertrials from Bhopal Central Jail and their deaths in police encounter. The public notice has been issued by sub-divisional  magistrate and investigation officer, Berasia, Rajiv Nandan Shrivastava. The citizens have been given fifteen days time to provide evidences.

  • Bhopal: Narendra Modi invited to conclude Namami Devi Narmade Yatra

    BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament House at New Delhi on Monday. Chouhan in his meeting informed Modi that ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ Yatra will begin on December 11 from Omkareshwar and conclude in May, 2017. Chouhan invited Modi to attend the programme to be organised when the Yatra would conclude.

    BHOPAL: National conference on “Applications of ITS, GIS, City Apps and Cyber Security for Smart Cities” concluded at Oriental College of Technology Bhopal with a valedictory function on Monday. Around 150 papers were presented in the four technical sessions of the meet in two days.

  • Bhopal: Railways crossing gate at Bawaria Kalan to remain closed for 7 days

    BHOPAL: A railway crossing gate number 247, situated at Bawaria Kalan under Habibganj-Misrod station of Bhopal division will remain closed between November 23 and 29 for road traffic, following overhauling. Alternative routes would be used during the period of overhauling by vehicles.

  • Indore: Brother among four arrested in Bardari Kankad

    Indore: Police on Monday arrested four persons for beating a farmer to death at latter’s field in Bardari Kankad village following an argument over petty issue on Sunday night. Police have launched a manhunt to nab one of their accomplices.
