  • ‘GPS technology can predict football injuries’

    London : Footballers’ injuries may be predicted by looking at their workloads during training and competition, according to a new study which used GPS to track players’ speed and acceleration. The greatest injury risk occurred when players accumulated a very high number of short bursts of speed during training over a three-week period, researchers found.

    Khachrod : A Magic van no MP-13-TA-0231, carrying students of local Satyasiddhi Public School fell into a gorge due to driver’s negligence at Madawadi Fata on Wednesday. 20 students were injured out of them 8 are reported to be serious.

Speaking eloquently, students of class IV narrated an important incident in the life of leaders of the world – Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Benazir Bhutto, Abraham Lincoln and Sirimavo Bandaranaike. As per school sources, Vanjani also viewed the exhibition of scrap books and comic books prepared by class IV and V students.

The tournament will be  held under the auspices of Thane district Carrom Association & Maharashtra Carrom association form 13th to 16th August. It will be held at CKP Hall (A/C), Kharkar Ali, Thane (West).

    Mhow : A father, whose infant child was died in Government Dr Ambedkar Hospital four years back due to ‘alleged’ negligence of medical staff, is still awaiting justice even after passing of four years. Inquiry officials are still taking statements of concerned staff in the case till date. Father of the infant has alleged that inquiry officials are trying to shed culprits from the ‘heat’.
