    BHOPAL : World Head Neck Cancer Day (WHNCD) would be observed in the city on Wednesday. Every year nearly ten lakh persons in India are diagnosed with oral cancer and half of them die within a year of diagnosis. The main cause of the deaths and disabilities due to oral cancer is known in medical term as head neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).

    Ujjain: Rotary Club of Ujjain Greater and Akshat International School jointly hosted a plantation programme on the banks of Kshipra near the Government Jiwajirao Observatory. Around 250 students and the members of the club planted saplings in the presence of collector Kavindra Kiyawat, chief forest conservator Annagiri and DFO Rajiv Mishra.

    Madrid : Atletico Madrid football club has agreed to loan Argentinian striker Luciano Vietto to Sevilla, Spanish media reported on Tuesday. Spanish newspaper MARCA reported that a one-year deal has been concluded for 3 million euros ($3.3 million), while Sevilla has an option to make the move permanent for nearly 20 million euros ($22 million), reports Efe. Vietto, 22, moved from Villarreal to Atletico last year.
