  • State gets Rs 1053 cr under MNREGA

    BHOPAL: The state received a fund of Rs 1,053 crore under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) from the Central government on Saturday. This will accelerate implementation of MNREGA. Directives have been given to ensure payment of wages to labourers on priority using this amount. At present, about 4 lakh works are underway in the state under MNREGA. Using the received amount, early completion of these works will be ensured.
