  • Government appoints Atulesh Jindal as CBDT chairman

    New Delhi :  Senior revenue service officer Atulesh Jindal was appointed Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), the apex policy making body of Income Tax department. He will succeed A K Jain, who completes his term this month-end. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Jindal as Chairman CBDT, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said without mentioning his tenure.
