  • Moin Khan Case: Court directs cops to register FIR against officials of Vakola police station

    Mumbai : A Bandra magistrate court directed police to register an FIR against officials of Vakola police station in connection with Moin Khan’s case. It also asked the Additional Commissioner of Police (Western Region) to set up an enquiry into the conduct of Vakola police officials under Section 156 (3) of CrPC (which enables a magistrate to order such an investigation), register the offence and file a report regarding the same.

    Mumbai : Indian Railways have doubled the ticket cancellation refund charges to curb the scope of misuse and to make tickets available for genuine passengers. These new refund rules will come into effect from November 12.
