  • SBI net profit grows 25%; NPA improves

    MUMBAI :  State Bank of India’s net profit for the quarter ended September beat analysts’ estimates and posted a 25.1% rise from the year-ago period to 38.79 bln rupees due to improved in asset quality and declining provisions and contingencies. Analysts had estimated the bank’s net profit for the quarter at 35.94 bln rupees.
