  • Motherson Sumi Q4 net up 54.5% at Rs 302.53 cr

    New Delhi:  Auto components maker Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd  reported 54.5 % jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 302.53 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014.  The company had reported net profit of Rs 195.8 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal (2012-13), Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd (MSSL) said in a BSE filing.  Net sales stood at Rs 8,289.01 crore, up 25.59 % compared to Rs 6,599.61

  • Cummins Q4 net dips 25% to Rs 142 cr

    New Delhi: Engine maker Cummins India reported a 24.79 % decline in its net profit at Rs 141.79 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014.  The company had posted a net profit of Rs 188.54 crore during the same period last fiscal.  Net sales declined to Rs 956.01 crore as against Rs 1,128 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Cummins India said in a filing to the BSE.

    New Delhi:  IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd reported 27.7 % drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 109.23 crore for the quarter ended March due to lesser income from operations and higher finance cost.  Income from operations also came down to Rs 882.87 crore from Rs 948.27 crore in the corresponding quarter, it said.
