  • City makes hat- trick of A grades, utsav at DAVV

    Indore: If A grades to two institutions of the city were not enough, here comes another. After Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( DAVV) and Atal Behari Vajpayee Government Arts and Commerce College, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council ( NAAC) awarded A grade to School of Education ( SoE), a teaching department of the DAVV. The SoE was accredited with A grade in 2008 also. It retained the grade.

    Indore: After a long wait, the Metre Gauge conversion work of Indore- Ujjain section will start on Monday. The Western Railway’s ( WR) Ratlam Division has decided to suspend rail traffic on Indore- Fatehabad- Ujjain Metre Gauge section for six months from February 24.

  • Ujjain- Fatehabad- Indore rly route to be blocked from Feb 24

    Ujjain: Ujjain- Fatehabad- Indore railway route will be blocked from February 24 as the route will be shifted to broad gauge. According to PRO Pradeep Sharma, during the block on the route, different trains of metre gauge will be conducted on Indore to Mhow/ Khandwa/ Akola route. Ujjain- Akola train which is conducted between Ujjain and Akola at present will be run between Indore and Akola due to the block.

  • Stray cattle hits man in vegetable market

    Ujjain: A man was hit by stray cattle in vegetable market here on Saturday. The victim was rushed to the district hospital. Victim Kailash, son of Harbhajan Singh is a loader. He went to receive his wage at the vegetable market located at Zero Point. While he was parking his motorbike, a stray bull hit him.
