People’s Hospital nurses go on strike in Bhopal

BHOPAL: Nurses at People’s hospital struck work on Monday demanding increase in salary on Monday. About 40-50 nurses protested against non-payment of pending salary and appraisal.

Prof. Dr VK Pandya informed that the strike was called off very soon after the nurses were assured about the immediate solution to their demand.

When Free Press tried to contact the nurses, they refused to say anything in the matter and said that they were waiting for the management to act as they have been given assurance.
