BHOPAL : Staunch BJP man and home minister Babulal Gaur’s affection for Congress has once again hogged the limelight in political circle as he minced no word while appreciating former Union minister Kamal Nath for allocating funds for development of Bhopal, while earlier in another incident he touched feet of former Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sriniwas Tiwari in Rewa.
Gaur, on Saturday went to Congress camp in Vidhan Sabha during Rajya Sabha polls, and showered words of praise on former ministers Arjun Singh and Kamal Nath for their contribution for development of Bhopal. Gaur thanked both Congress leaders for it stating that credit goes to Arjun Singh and Kamal Nath for Bhopal’s development. Being a Union minister, Kamal Nath allocated a lot of funds for development, Gaur added.
Earlier, Gaur, when he was on his way to Allahabad, UP to attend the BJP national executive body meeting, called on former assembly Speaker and Congress leader Sriniwas Tiwari in Rewa. He also touched Tiwari’s feet.
On one hand Gaur touched feet of Sriniwas Tiwari while on the other, State government has continuously launches vitriolic attack against Tiwari. BJP government has already filed a case against Sriniwas Tiwari in connection with irregularities in appointments in Vidhan Sabha secretariat.
