Bhopal: MPHRC seeks report on woman not treated for hours at Hamidia


BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) has taken cognisance of the incident of a patient who did not get treatment for nine hours in Hamidia Hospital of the city. The Commission has sought report of the incident from the superintendent of the hospital.

One Rajkumar, resident of Sagar district, had reached Hamidia hospital with his injured wife at 2am in the night, where the emergency doctor asked to get CT Scan done on her wife.

He was made to wait till morning for CT Scan and had to run from pillar to post for getting her wife admitted. The commission took the incident of carelessness with the patient seriously and has sought report from the superintendent of Hamidia Hospital.
