Bachchan launches OnePlus6 in Mumbai

Mumbai : The much-awaited OnePlus 6 was announced at a grand event in Mumbai on Thursday. The first OnePlus in the line of flagship to feature an all-glass design, the new model is the company’s most sophisticated handset.

The audio visual played at the time of the launch showed the engineering prowess and the fact the handset is completely water resistant. The OnePlus 6 is also the fastest handset the company has produced and costs Rs 34,999.

The OnePlus 6 handset has a 6.28-inche full optic AMOLED 19:9 display – OnePlus’ largest-ever screen – the OnePlus 6 offers an immersive viewing experience, while keeping a similar form factor to that of the OnePlus 5T with 1080×226 pixel resolution, a glass back cover,, Gorilla 5 glass protection, 3D multi layered, slim body, 16m and 20 M dual sensors, increased low light sensitivity, optical image stabilisation and super slow motion. The OnePlus 6 has 6 GB and 8 GB RAMs. The cellphone has dual rear camera with 16 megapixels and secondary lens with 20 megapixels. The front camera has 16 megapixels. The OnePlus6 unlocks within 0.4 seconds.

The OnePlus 6 is powered by one of the most powerful processors on the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which improves performance by 30 per cent, while being 10 per cent more power efficient. Coupled with the Adreno 630, which is 30 per cent faster than the previous generation, the OnePlus 6 has got all attractions for streaming HD video to play graphically intense games.

The OnePlus 6 will be available in an early access sale on, and OnePlus experience store in Bangalore on May 21 The brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan was present at the time of the launch.
