Apple takes Overall Product Placement title in 2014 movies



Washington : Apple has taken the Overall Product Placement title in Brandchannel’s Brandcameo Product Placement Awards as Apple products appeared in nine out of 35 movies that topped US weekend box office in 2014. According to the Verge, Apple references were in various movies including the Apple Store scene in the movie “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”. Other movies having Apple product placements were “The Winter Soldier” and “Tower Heist”. Meanwhile, “Transformer: Age of Extinction” is cited as having the most product placements of any 2014 blockbuster, numbering 55 brands in all.
