Workshop on gender sensitivity held at NHPS

BHOPAL : A workshop on gender sensitivity was organised at the Navnidh Hassomal Public School (NHPS) here on Saturday as part of the ongoing “Capacity Building Programme” presently underway at the school.

At the outset, Poonam Shekhawat, the CBSE mentor for the workshop was welcomed with bouquets.

At the workshop, through various activities, the teachers were taught that for proper development of children, it is necessary that they should learn to differentiate the good from the bad so that they can take the right decisions in life. The issues discussed included gender construct, gender sensitivity methodology, and gender cards. The objective of the workshop was to help the teachers understand what gender inequality is about and to enable them to help build society where girls and boys give respect to each other.


A special training on installing Math Lab was arranged for the teachers of Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School and Mithi Gobindram Public School.

Manish Jain, principal of the school proposed a vote of thanks.
