Chauhan feted at BJP national council meeting for 3consecutive wins

BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, chiding Arvind Kejriwal without naming him, said the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh organised ‘ Janata Darbars’ in CM House not on the roads. Chauhan was speaking in a meeting of BJP national council. He said all schemes are made and decisions in the state are taken after taking opinion from the public.

The CM was feted by BJP national president Rajnath Singh for party’s third consecutive victory in the state. Chauhan said the Congress’ mentality is degrading as they are inviting a personality like Narendra Modi to sell tea. He said we feel that it is possible only in a democratic party like BJP that a tea seller is going to become country’s prime minister.all 29 seats in Lok Sabha elections in the state and Modi would get full backing from the state. He said the people in the state gave a befitting reply to the BJP’s opponents.

The party got votes in rural and urban areas, of upper and middle classes, from people professing different faiths and religious. Chauhan said it was because of the BJP-ruled states that the country’s growth rate is pegged at more than 4.5 per cent. He claimed this growth rate would come down below 3 per cent, if the growth rates of BJP ruled states is not taken into account.

Reiterating his stand on removing corruption from the state, the CM said constant efforts are being made to eliminate corruption. The wealth seized from the corrupt is being deposited in the state exchequer and so far, Rs 200 crore have been deposited. He said the zero-tolerance against corruption is not a scheme but it is a mission for us which would continue against the corrupt.
