Bhopal: In last few days, the number of dengue and chikungunya patients have been reported the highest in Bhopal. From October 3 to October 8, the numbers of dengue patients have been more than 61 positive cases reported in Bhopal, which is the highest in state.
Similarly in chikungunya, Bhopal has the highest number of patients reported positive. More than 17 patients were found positive for chikungunya in last 6 days. The state health department about the rising numbers said that since it is the onset of winters, the cases are likely to rise.
CMHO Dr Veena Sinha said “We are continuously working on it and this year the numbers of cases are very less compared to last year.”
