BHOPAL : Swine flu death toll has gone upto 119 in Madhya Pradesh since July 1. About 698 cases were reported positive in the state. Similarly, dengue cases have gone upto 700 in MP of which 50 percent are from Bhopal.
According to health department, swine flu cases have decreased in last three to four days. Director, Health, Dr KL Sahu said, “It is very difficult to predict anything about swine flu, dengue and chikengunya. In 2015, it started in January and ended in March but now it has been surfaced in July. So it is very difficult to predict its prevalence. However, day well as night temperature in Madhya Pradesh are over normal so it is declining.”
Dr Sahu said, “Of 700 dengue cases reported in Madhya Pradesh, 50 percent are from Bhopal. Similarly, out of 150 cases of chikengunya cases, 20 percent of them are from Bhopal. Our main agenda is to make arrangement of availability of medicines and others facilities in the state and we are doing our level best for it to restrict the viral.”
