Reconsider reservation policy: Hardik Patel


Ratlam : Leader of the Patidar community Hardik Patel Gujarat here on Sunday said that his main object behind agitation is to reconsider the reservation policy. He said that his object is to unite his community people for their rights.

While talking to media persons at the local hotel today the Patidar community leader Patel said that he did not intend to join the politics as he is just of 22-years of age and will consider to enter in politics after three years period. He said that reservation for the backward people should be enhanced from 14% to 27%. He said that in MP he plans to organize his community people’s rallies and sammelan to unite them. He stressed the need of taking care of the interests of the farmers. He said that his recent experience of past few months is that there exists Jungle Raj in Gujarat. He said that his agitation is based on Gandhian principle. He said that his present priority is to unite the youths of the Patidar community.

Meanwhile, the Mahapanchayat of the Patidar community which was held here today at the Sailana road could not draw much crowd as was earlier claimed by the organizers who had claimed gathering of more than 50 thousand persons but the participation in the Mahapanchayat was much less.
