Monsoon to take a breather till July 26


BHOPAL : Heavy rains are unlikely to lash the capital for the next two or three days. After July 26, another system is expected to be formed over Madhya Pradesh, which may bring heavy rains to Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Hoshangabad, Khandwa districts.

As there is gap in rain, day temperature soared by almost 4 degree Celsius. However, clouds hovered over the state capital in the evening hours. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 32.2°C which was 2°C above the normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 24.4°C which was 1°C. On Tuesday, the day temperature was 28.9°C. it showed that day temperature soared. However, humidity level continued to be above 90 per cent.

As per the meteorological department, multiple systems are still working over Madhya Pradesh. One system is over western region of Madhya Pradesh covering Indore, Ujjain, Dewas. There is another system over Gujarat and Rajasthan. Therefore, these multiple systems are expected to precipitate in Madhya Pradesh. These systems are expected to gain momentum after July 26. The axis of monsoon trough is passing through Madhya Pradesh so system has not subsided. On the contrary, the multiple systems are still working.
