Drama School students to stage plays in Jabalpur

BHOPAL: A five-day theatre fest will be organised at Tarang Prekshagrah, Jabalpur. The fest is being organised by MP School of Drama with the support of Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited, Council of Central CREDA and Art. The fest will begin on July 10.

The students of the Drama School will present six plays before the theatre buffs of Jabalpur. These plays are of different genres and based on diverse themes. The students have been rehearsing for these plays for the last few months.

The fest would begin with Hindi play ‘Neelkanth Nirala’, directed by Director of MPSD, Sanjay Upadhyay on July 10. Another Hindi play ‘Skandgupt’ directed by Alok Chhatterjee would be staged on July 11.


On July 12 and 13, marking the third and fourth day of the fest, another Hindi play ‘Arnaya Gatha’ directed by Kanhaiya Lal Kaithwas and ‘Nagarnama’ directed by Devndra Raj Ankur would be staged. The fest would conclude with Hindi play ‘Virasat’ directed by Anirudh Khutwad on July 14.

Company Secretary interacts with Career students

BHOPAL: A guest lecture was organised at Career College on Wednesday under the aegis of its Department of Commerce and Management.

The chief guest Amit Kumar Jain, Company Secretary gave information to the students regarding how to build a   career as Company Secretary. The students were told about the Foundation course of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
