BHOPAL : ‘Tawa’ is an integral part of every Indian kitchen. The familiar ‘tak tak’ of this versatile utensil will be heard for next 15 days at the multi-cuisine restaurant MoMo Café at Courtyard by Marriott. The chefs will be serving famous tawa dishes from across India.
‘The Tawas Of India’, that started August 11 is the first of its kind food fest and will offer innumerable varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian tawa dishes.
Executive chef, Courtyard by Marriott, Ravinder Singh Panwar while addressing a press conference to announce food festival said, “The tawa technique of cooking has been an integral part of age old Indian cuisine down the centuries. The chef’s secret recipes use a blend of traditional spices like cumin, cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, red chillies, coriander and turmeric – now come to be popularly known as Tawa Spices.”
Talking about menu chef Ravinder said, “From kebabs to paranthas, khurchans, tikkis, pav bhaji, chhole kulche…this festival will be packed with exciting and innovative dishes from all nooks and corners of India.”
