Bhopal: Student-teacher-parents synergy helps for development of child


BHOPAL: Campion School and Campion Old Boys Association (COBA) in its career guidance and counselling initiative “Disha Samvaad” organised a session Sunday on “Student-teacher-parents” synergy for development of the child”. This programme was specially arranged for the parents of Standard 5th and 7th. More than 1400 parents participated.

Chief guest guide and counsellor Himanshu Joshi (ex Campionite), principal Fr Dr Athnas Lakra SJ, vice principal Fr Ajay Kumar Kerketta SJ, Fr Sanjay Kujur SJ, along with senior teacher Mahendra Kothari and other dignitaries inaugurated the programme. The programme was about connection between “Student-Teacher-Parent” in this current scenario. Joshi said, “The teacher’s ability to assess students’ learning, analyze outcomes, and adapt instruction to meet their needs may not always show up on a state standardised exam.

However, principals who pay Attention to a range of measures of teacher effectiveness can provide more meaningful teacher evaluations that promote teacher growth. Parents always show interest on their child for the better development in each and every field. Students always follow the right and good path shown by their teachers. Career guidance and counselling programme develops an individual’s competencies in self-knowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and career planning.
