Bhopal: Preeti Rajak of state shooting academy grabs 2 gold medals


BHOPAL: Preeti Rajak, a player of Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy, stood first in double-trap event’s senior women individual round on Tuesday, the fifth day of 26th All India GV Malvankar Shooting Championship being organised at Bishankhedi Range of MP Shooting Academy. Rajak won the gold medal of the event. The silver medal was grabbed Katha Kapoor and Shaifali Rajak of the academy contended with the bronze medal.

Besides, Preeti Rajak won another gold medal in junior women event and Shaifali Rajak clinched the silver medal. The bronze medal was taken by Puja Patel of Maharashtra.

In the individual round of senior men’s category, the gold medal was snatched by Shiv Bhadra Singh Jadeja of Gujarat. Amir Yunus took the silver and Yasir Ibrahim of Uttar Pradesh got the bronze medal. The gold medal of junior men’s round was won by Vishwa Tej Singh Patil of Maharashtra. Rishikesh Chouhan grabbed the silver and Kabir Sharma of Delhi took the bronze medal.
