Bhopal: Police solve Lal murder case, accused held


Bhopal: District police solved the murder mystery of a youth and arrested all the accused on Thursday. ASP Gopal Khandel held a press conference at police control room here on Friday and informed about the details of the murder.   ASP Khandel said that Lal Singh, son of Jhabar Singh had been killed in village Chichali under Jawar police station area on April 22, 2017. Police had registered the case and started investigations. During investigation, police found that the victim had been killed by his two brothers and their wives over money dispute.

Police informed that deceased Lal Singh had taken a loan of Rs 1.5 lakh from the bank to construct a house. Victim’s elder brothers Bhav Singh and Mal Singh had asked Lal Singh to give the money to them. When Lal Singh refused to give the money to them, they along with their wives Sharadabai and Jamunabai took him to Dhobighat Rapat in the village and attacked him with axes, heavy stone and killed him on the spot.   After killing him, they informed police that their brother was killed by unknown person. After registering the case, police started investigations and during investigations, found that victim’s brothers and their wives had killed him. SP Navneet Bhasin appreciated the efforts of police station in-charges Arun Patil, Shivram Patidar, KS Rajput, Nandram Basure and others and announced to award them with cash prize of Rs 5,000.
