Bhopal: Disabled teacher accuses female fellow of misbehavior

Bhopal: A visually challenged music teacher of Kamla Nehru Higher Secondary School has accused his female fellow of misbehaving with him. In a complaint to school education department, Amit Garg alleged that Maneesha Parashar on December 27 stopped him in the school’s gallery and made a joke of his disability for the heck of it.

Following the complaint, Joint director (school education) Balveer Verma took statements of both the victim and the accused and sent his report to deputy director Krishna Parse. Garg also claimed that she often misbehaves with the staff, students. “Many a complaints were lodged against her but to no avail.”

Garg claimed that Parashar has high connections due to which she evades action against her and manages to cancel her transfers. “A proof to it is that she has been at the same school for past 20 years.”  Parashar was recently been accused of manhandling principal Nishi Karmakar , a complained of which was lodged with DHE but to no avail.

Karmakar told Free Press, “I had relived her from the post but she got her transfer stayed using her political contacts. She was posted in the school for more than 20 years, which is in violation of rule of posting and transfer. She misbehaved with me also. She is a lady without senses.”
