Bhopal: The C21 mall in Bhopal is all set to turn into the most happening destination. In a first of its kind business model in the country capital malls has taken over C 21 mall, as the current scenario of shopping malls are in doldrums.
During the period, the Capital Malls will be responsible for new zoning, tenant mix, lease management and mall management. Capital Malls will be accountable as well as responsible for increasing footfalls, manage events, retailer interactions etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Century 21 Malls private limited, director, Kamal Nichani said, that they are pleased to handover the Mall in professional hands of Capital Malls. “We are confident that they will be able to make this mall, the best shopping destination of Central India”, Nichani added.
Capital Malls, managing director, Mukesh Kumar said on the occasion, “By taking the entire mall on a long term lease, we will be able to not only bring innovation in marketing, but in operations as well.” Talking on the future plans of the company, Kumar added that they are in talks with a few more mall developers on similar lines. He added that such kind of business concepts gives mall developers a guarantee of returns (rentals) and enhances the value of the asset.
