BHOPAL: Ankita Tripathi, 27, has secured top rank in MPPSC exam. She is daughter of an officer of MP Mining Corporation.
Sharing her experience to The Free Press Journal, Tripathi, who hails Tikamgarh, but has been living in Bhopal for the past 12 years said, “I got the news through one of my seniors Rekha ma’am on Wednesday on phone at 7.30pm. At that time I was outside. I was hoping that I would be selected but never ever imagined that I would be topper. It is out of my expectation but I’m very happy.” This was Ankita’s fourth attempt and since 2012, she has been preparing for this. “And it could only be possible due to immense support of my parents, especially my father, who used to guide me always and told how we should prepare for such exams. In fact, he used to read newspapers for me and inform which news was more important. My brother is doing preparation for civil services and also selected this year,” she said.
Speaking about her preparation, Tripathi, who has also been selected for district excise officer recently and now doing her training here said, “From the very beginning I was very clear that I have to crack the exam. So, first of all I did concise my study. I used to read newspapers regularly, NCERT books, and also used to revise previous papers of the exam to know its patterns. At the same time I also used to consult some reference books. It is fruitful result of my hard work of five years as well as full support of my family,” adding, “My next goal is to crack UPSC exam. Also I want to do work for women’s education.” The final result of MP Public Service Commission-2015 was declared on Wednesday night.
