Bhopal: Agrawal feted with ‘Shanghai Youth Leaders Award’

BHOPAL: Tanmay Agrawal, a resident of the city has been honored with the prestigious ‘Shanghai Youth Leader Award’ at the World Youth Conference-2016 for his extra-ordinary contributions and efforts in various fields like fighting for the legal rights of the underprivileged, helping them to get legal aid and also for engaging youth in social works in Bhopal. This international conference was recently held at ‘VigyanBhawan’ in New Delhi. This conference with theme of ‘Youth for Sustainable Development’ had around 400 delegates from 90 countries of the world.

Agrawal, an aspiring advocate and pursuing law education at National Law University Odisha, presented his paper on “Towards world peace, justice, strong institutions and effective policy making”. On receiving the award, he said, “It was an honor to be among the top few awardees from a conference which had around 400 delegates from all over the world. This award doesn’t only belong to me but it is dedicated to all those supportive friends, my parents and to all those supporters who made this journey possible towards this noble cause.
