Bhopal: 25 SAS officers cleared for elevation to IAS

BHOPAL: The meeting of the departmental promotion committee, held at New Delhi on Tuesday, cleared the names of 25 SAS officers for promotion to the IAS. Four officers were declared unfit for promotion while another four were given provisional promotion. The names of ten SPS officers were cleared for elevation to the IPS.

Chief secretary BP Singh, DGP Rishi Shukla, PCCF Animesh Shukla and the ACSs of home and forest departments and secretary of GAD participated in the meeting. Those cleared for promotion to the IAS rank include Umesh Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Shailbala Martin, Jagdish Chandra Jatia, Vedprakash and Rakesh Shrivastava of the 1992 batch, Vandana Vaidya, Anubha Shrivastava, Rakesh Singh, Prabal Sipaha, Shashibhushan Singh, Satendra Singh, Manish Singh and Amarpal Singh of the 1993 batch and Chhote Singh, Akshay Singh, Dinesh Shrivastava and Sapna Nigam of the 1994 batch.

Vasant Kurre, Ashok Jadaun, Shivpal and Lalit Dahima were given provisional promotions, subject to clearing departmental enquiries pending against them by December 31 this year. Dharmendra Singh, Vivek Singh, Moolchand Verma and ZU Shailkh were declared unfit for promotion. The names of SPS officers Manoj Shrivastava, Pankaj Shrivastava, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Hemant Chouhan, Manoj Singh, Rakesh Singh, Vineet Kapoor, Vijay Khatri, Vinit Kumar Jain and Dharmendra Bhadoria were cleared for promotion to the IPS.
