Bhopal: 17-year-old comes under train


BHOPAL: WhatsApp and music mania killed a teenager while crossing the railway line at Bhori crossing, under Khajuri police station on Wednesday. SHO Suryakant Awasthi informed Kamlesh, 17, son of Ramu Singrole was going to work from his home and was crossing the railway line at around 9.45 am.

He was replying to messages on WhatsApp and also had earphone and listening to music. People standing near the crossing shouted at him and tried to stop the boy, but due to the earphone, he was not able to listen to them and also the horn of the coming train, as a result of which he came under the train. People were waiting for the intercity train to cross when the incident happened. The police registered a case.
